The Federal University of Technology, Owerri (FUTO) has updated its Supplementary Form portal, adding all previously advertised courses that were earlier missing from the "Course Shopping Into" option list.

Candidates who intend to apply for the ongoing 2026/2027 Post-UTME Screening Exercise for Supplementary Admission can now select from the full range of advertised programmes when completing their form.

What Changed

According to the update, all courses that were part of the official supplementary admission advertisement, but had previously been omitted from the dropdown selection on the application portal, have now been added and made available for candidates to choose from.

Among the programmes now reflected on the "Course Shopping Into" list are:

  • Biotechnology
  • Chemical Engineering
  • Chemistry
  • Crop Science and Technology
  • Electronic Engineering
  • Entrepreneurship and Innovation
  • Environmental Health Science
  • Environmental Management
  • Estate Management & Valuation
  • (and other advertised courses further down the list)

This correction ensures that candidates applying under the supplementary exercise are no longer restricted by a limited or incomplete list of programme options.

What This Means for Candidates

Candidates who may have previously been unable to find their intended course on the portal are now advised to revisit the application form, as their desired programme may now be available for selection.

Prospective applicants are encouraged to purchase the Supplementary Form in order to stand a chance of securing admission into FUTO for the 2026/2027 academic session, in line with the ongoing supplementary screening exercise.

Reminder on the Supplementary Screening Exercise

This update comes as part of the university's broader 2026/2027 Post-UTME Screening Exercise for Supplementary Admission, which remains open to eligible candidates who meet the stipulated JAMB score and O'Level requirements for their intended programmes.

Candidates are reminded to ensure that the course they select aligns with their JAMB CAPS programme of choice, and to confirm that their details match correctly across both platforms to avoid complications during the admission process.

Candidates are advised to revisit the FUTO Supplementary Form portal and select their correct course of interest from the now-complete list of advertised programmes.
