The Federal University of Technology, Owerri (FUTO) held its first-ever After-Examination Worship on September 30, 2026, bringing students together in a moment of gratitude and reflection following the semester's examinations.

What the Event Was About

The worship session brought students together to thank God for a successful semester, pray, and commit their examination results into His hands, as the university community looks ahead to the release of results and the continuation of academic activities.

The event was hosted by Wisdom Anumudu, a 300-level Polymer and Textile Engineering student, who brought students together for the inaugural edition of the gathering.

A New Tradition in the Making

Being the first of its kind, the After-Examination Worship appears to mark the beginning of what could become a regular tradition among students at FUTO, offering a dedicated moment for spiritual reflection and communal gratitude after the stress of examinations.

Students who missed this edition are encouraged to watch out for subsequent gatherings, as the initiative continues to take shape within the university community.
